Order Handling & Delivery

A practical overview of how orders are prepared and sent out — covering preparation windows, the regions served, delivery tiers, fee calculation, tracking, and what happens when a parcel goes astray.

01Overview

Orders are picked, packed, and handed to a carrier as promptly as circumstances allow. The sections below set out the usual preparation window, the destinations currently served, the delivery tiers available at checkout, how fees are worked out, how tracking works, and the steps taken when a parcel is late, lost, or damaged.

Timings quoted here refer to business days unless stated otherwise, and they exclude weekends and public holidays. All figures are estimates and not guarantees.

02Preparation Window

Once payment has been confirmed, an order normally enters preparation within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday begin preparation on the following working day.
  • During seasonal peaks and promotional periods, preparation may take a little longer. A note is posted on the site when this is expected.
  • Items that require additional checks before dispatch are flagged on their product page.

03Regions Served

Deliveries are available across the entire United States, together with a selected list of international destinations.

The list of destinations is shown at checkout and is updated as arrangements change. If a particular address does not appear as an option, it is worth checking again later, as coverage is reviewed periodically.

04Delivery Tiers & Transit Estimates

Every duration quoted is an estimate counted from the dispatch date, not from the date the order was placed. Weather, carrier volume, and customs clearance for cross-border parcels can all affect the actual transit time.

Within the United States

  1. Standard service — approximately 3–8 business days
  2. Expedited service — approximately 2–4 business days

International

Estimated transit period — approximately 10–25 business days, depending on destination and clearance.

05How Delivery Fees Are Calculated

Delivery charges are calculated automatically and shown clearly before payment is confirmed. Three factors drive the final figure:

  • The full destination address, including any remote-area surcharge
  • The service tier selected at checkout
  • The combined weight and dimensions of the items in the parcel

Certain orders may qualify for a free or reduced delivery promotion. Where a promotion applies, the saving is displayed at checkout before the order is submitted.

06Following a Shipment

When an order leaves the warehouse, a dispatch confirmation is sent to the address registered with the order, together with a unique tracking reference.

Tracking data usually takes 24–48 hours to sync and appear on the carrier's platform. If a tracking page shows no details straight after the confirmation arrives, checking again a little later normally resolves it.

Where a tracking link is not received, the account area may still show the current status of the order.

07Cross-Border Customs and Import Charges

For parcels delivered outside the United States:

  • Local customs duties, import taxes, clearance surcharges, and other administrative fees may be applied by the destination customs authority once the parcel arrives.
  • Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in product prices or base delivery fees.
  • Refusing to pay these charges may result in the parcel being returned or disposed of, and the associated costs are not refundable.

Where possible, check the applicable tax and duty rules with the local customs office before placing an international order.

08Carriers Used

Established, fully tracked logistics partners are used to support secure and reliable delivery for domestic and international parcels:

  • USPS — economical, dependable standard delivery within the United States
  • UPS — fast, secure transport, well suited to expedited domestic shipments
  • FedEx — end-to-end tracked delivery for both domestic and cross-border parcels

The carrier assigned to a given parcel depends on the destination, the service chosen, and the size of the package. The carrier name and tracking link appear once the order has been dispatched.

09Incorrect Addresses and Missed Deliveries

The full and accurate delivery address should be checked before checkout is completed. Once an order has been dispatched, the address generally cannot be changed.

  • If a parcel comes back because the address was invalid, misspelled, or incomplete, a second delivery attempt may involve an additional fee.
  • If a scheduled delivery attempt is missed, a notice is normally left at the address. The instructions on that notice explain how to arrange collection or a further attempt.

10Damaged or Lost Parcels

Packaging is inspected before dispatch to support intact delivery. If a parcel arrives damaged, or is confirmed lost in transit, a claim should be raised within 10 calendar days of the expected delivery date.

To help resolve the matter quickly, have the order reference ready and, where relevant, clear photographs of the damaged packaging or item. Each case is reviewed individually, and a reasonable remedy is offered once the details have been checked.

11Delivery Enquiries

Questions about preparation schedules, delivery estimates, shipment tracking, cross-border rules, address corrections, or parcels that have gone missing or arrived damaged can be raised through the support or contact page published on this website.

Including the order reference, where one exists, helps a reply arrive more quickly.
